Mary Breier and Don Baumgartner have been playing together as Music MD for quite a while now, bringing you your favorites in classic pop and cabaret music. It's the most melodic and memorable music from before (and even some after) the new Millennium started. Whether its music from the Great American Songbook, familiar pop tunes from the 60s and 70s, Broadway showtunes, or more recent tunes...we play it.
Our instrumentation includes electronic keyboard, M-Audio organ, electronic drums (yes, we manage the volume!), harmonica, rhythm instruments, and provide both lead and background harmony vocals. We are a small but mighty duo, which makes us perfect for your restaurant, bar, small venue or event. We also have our own sound equipment in case you do not...which makes us very handy.

Please note: Until June 2025, we had the talent of Ben Rosales providing guitar and additional vocals as part of our mix. However, our dear friend and colleague Ben passed away unexpectedly, leaving us alone and very aggrieved.
We miss him greatly.

We work with you on our rate of pay based on where the event is located, how long we will play, and the type of event. We have played for:
